School Board Nominations
Expressions of interest for a Parent Representative and a Community Representative are now open.
As part of the process, we are requesting each candidate submit a 250-word paragraph. This paragraph is an opportunity for you to introduce yourself to the community and highlight your interest in serving. You can also provide information on any experience and/or qualifications that make you suitable for the role.
The following provides a possible structure for the paragraph:
- Introduction: Briefly introduce yourself, including your name and any relevant personal background information that connects you to the school community.
- Interest in the role: Share why you would like to serve as a parent representative on the school board. Highlight specific areas or issues you are passionate about.
- (Optional) Experience and Qualifications: Outline any experience and qualifications that make you a suitable candidate for the role. This may include your involvement in educational settings, community service, leadership roles, or any other relevant experiences.
- Commitment to the School Community: Express your commitment to the school’s values and your dedication to representing the interests and concerns of parents and students.
- Closing Remarks: Conclude with a brief statement that encapsulates your motivation for running and how you believe you can make a positive impact.
